Product Description
Lucide MADISON is an aluminium desk lamp in a chrome finish, with a slender curved frame, a long horizontal light section and a narrow base. A black fabric-covered cable complements the structure. Its reflective chrome surface gives the minimal silhouette a distinct character. It suits a desk, console or reading area where a long, visually light form is wanted above the task surface.
The elongated light section directs light downwards. The instructions show rotation of the light section and adjustment of the frame at the base for refining the light direction. Hold the base and grip the stem section as illustrated when adjusting the lamp; do not move it by grasping only the long light bar. The structure has no telescopic height adjustment.
The lamp includes 1 integrated LED source rated at 9 W, with a manufacturer-stated maximum source luminous flux of 300 lm. The manual specifies a dimmed flux range of 30–300 lm. Power describes electrical load, while flux describes the amount of light; when choosing a task lamp, also consider the distance to the surface and other room lighting. No separate bulb is required.
The fixed colour temperature of 2700 K provides warm white light. CRI 90 indicates high colour rendering and helps paper, textiles and interior materials retain a more accurate appearance. The declared source beam angle is 120°, describing broad light spread from the source; the elongated light section and its positioning also affect the visible illuminated area.
The touch dimmer on the base provides on/off switching and brightness adjustment for reading or a more relaxed evening setting. The colour temperature is not adjustable, so dimming changes brightness rather than the light colour. No external wall dimmer is needed.
The manufacturer declares an expected LED service life of 30,000 h, 15,000 switching cycles and light-source energy-efficiency class G. These describe source performance and are not warranty periods. The lamp has an included driver and a power cable with plug for connection to a 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains supply; there is no battery.
Overall dimensions are 62.5 × 5.5 × 33 cm. The elongated aluminium light section measures 53.5 × 1.6 × 1.6 cm. The base is 20 cm long and 5.5 cm wide, with a precise drawing height of 4.85 cm. The narrow base takes up little space, but allow clearance above the worktop for the entire curved frame. The black fabric-covered cable is 160 cm long, and net weight is 2.18 kg. Place the lamp on a stable, level surface.
The light is intended for dry indoor use. IP20 provides protection against access to hazardous parts and larger solid objects, but no protection against water. Electrical protection class II means double or reinforced insulation. There is no motion or dusk sensor; touch control requires deliberate user input. The fixture has a 3-year warranty.
